Career Day March 1, 2018

Grande Cache Community High School cordially invites you to participate in our second annual Career and Job Fair on Friday, March 1, 2019, 1pm. to 3:00 p.m., at the high school. This is a student-led initiative stemming from the Youth Symposium a year ago. Our students expressed a desire to learn more about a variety of careers at school. So we are asking that you consider helping us out, as you are the experts in your particular field. Last we set up a career fair in the gymnasium and students walked around and talked to presenters. This year we are also offering session during our excel block in the morning from 9:40-10:47. You can choose to host one of our multiple 55-minute talks followed by a 5 minute Q & A session and/or participate in our job fair in our beautiful new gymnasium.

This event will host numerous employers/agencies to promote their jobs, internships, and career opportunities to our students in a variety of fields, including trades, business, sciences, social work, education, media arts. You will have the opportunity to share various career paths involved in your organization with our students in both a job fair format and a scheduled presentation if you wish. The job fair format will allow you to provide information, meet students and take resumes. Are you looking for summer students? The job fair will run the full two hours with different groups of students touring. The scheduled presentations will provide the opportunity to share your organization in depth with groups of students.
Please refer to the following itinerary to plan your participation for this event:

9:40am-10:47am -- Present to students about your field in a classroom session. Students will choose which session they want to attend.
